This new year is also the Year of Blue Dragon. The Blue Dragon, a mythical creature known to fly and control water in East Asian culture, symbolizes good luck, hope, and success. In the spirit of Blue Dragon, CTMS is committed to continuing our efforts, not only limited to our research on migration, care, and gender equality but also actively engaging with other key stakeholders related to our mission, to build a more inclusive and sustainable society.
This mid-year edition of the CTMS newsletter covers an overview of the center’s events and accomplishments in 2023. New trends in migrant domestic workers’ policy are observed, and activities by center members ranging from a television appearance by Senior Research Fellow Hyuna Moon, and Director Ki-Soo Eun’s presentation at the 92nd forum held by the Korea Institute for Shared Growth are covered. We also announce the center’s social media expansion with a new Instagram account.
