2022 International Care Conference
The Center for Transnational Migration and Social Inclusion (CTMS) is honored to invite you to the 2022 International Care Conference to be held at Seoul National University's Graduate School of International Studies.

The conference will bring together domestic and foreign experts and researchers to offer policy recommendation to overcome the issues of population security, international migration, care, gender, and development challenges from an economic and social perspective. This event will be co-organized by the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Korean Association of Women’s Studies.

Everyone interested in building a caring society can participate through live broadcasts at the venue and YouTube.
CTMS Abroad | Care Across the Globe
Does care look the same in Kenya as it does in Sri Lanka? How about in Korea? CTMS shared its care work during the 2022 annual ‘Care Economies in Context’ meeting in Toronto, which explores paid and unpaid childcare, elder care, and sick and disabled care in nine countries around the world.

The future of care should be expanded to male care and care for caregivers. CTMS’ senior researchers Dr. Hyuna Moon and Dr. Jiweon Jun dive into new care approaches at the 3rd Gender Equality Forum held by the Korean Women’s Development Institute.

CTMS is launching its ‘Transnational Migration RoundTable’, a unique space to present current research and engage in deep discussions on the issues surrounding international migration.
